Assoc. Prof. Ho Thi Thanh Van is the Director of Research and Development Institute Advanced Agrobiology, Leader of Sustainable Development Project Lab, Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Assoc. Prof. Van’s professional accomplishment and key techniques relate to green technology solutions for protecting the environment and ensuring energy security to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change on a global scale.

Assoc. Prof. Ho Thi Thanh Van research has published more than 100 journals, patent, and books, undertaken 26 research projects, and obtained 18 awards in the field of sustainable development, including 2022 L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science International Rising Talents and 2019 L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science National Fellowship. She was ranked 23/100 in the Asian Scientist 100 by the Asian Scientist Magazine, Face of Action of Vietnam for Sustainable Development Goals 7 (SDG7) organized by Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs and United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland in 2023.
