Wen-Yu Weng (she/her) is a strategic advisor and leader in low-carbon energy and infrastructure with over a decade of experience in the energy transition. She partners with stakeholders across the energy ecosystem to drive solutions in renewables, industrial energy, storage, green hydrogen, low-carbon mobility, and ESG integration. Her expertise attracts diverse clients, from startups, to conglomerates, to utilities, to government agencies, delivering innovative strategies for sustainable growth and market value. Recognized for her leadership, Wen-Yu was named one of the inaugural “50 ESG Rising Stars” globally, the only consultant to receive this honour.
In the field of debate education, Wen-Yu has co-founded a debate not-for-profit education organization in Taiwan that has impacted thousands of students through debate and critical thinking education. As the director and coach for Taiwan Debate Union, she leads the programming and design of the trainings for the Taiwan Squad and has additionally coached the Taiwan World Schools Debate Team for the last decade to attend the prestigious World Schools Debating Championships. In addition, Wen-Yu has served as a member of the Chief Adjudication Panel for over 20 tournaments in the World Schools/ Parliamentary circuit, including previously as the Chief Adjudicator of the Asia World Schools Debate Championship. Wen-Yu is passionate about improving debate access and has helped to set up debate societies across over 30 secondary and tertiary institutions in the UK, Taiwan and Thailand.
